Fishing out at Fish Curry Rice with Eatigo!

I know it’s been a while since I last blogged but today I have a special reason and hey, a brilliant chance to share some love with you my lovelies. This time it’s not much about what I ate but how I got some amazing discounts through this new and fabulous restaurant reservation app called Eatigo

I went all ga-ga about this app and all my folks had only one question as to what is Eatigo and what are these amazing offers they have on charts. So here’s my experience of Eatigo – The Number 1 restaurant reservation app!

Eatigo is a restaurant reservation app which offers time-based discounts of up to 50% off, every day at all of its 2000+ restaurants. There is no pre-payment or any hidden cost, Eatigo is 100% FREE! It’s simple to use: search, reserve and binge on!

Available in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India and Philippines, Eatigo has seated over 5 million diners across the region and is Southeast Asia’s no. 1 restaurant reservation app.

It was so easy to use this app, even for the first time.
I loved the user interface of Eatigo which can be easily used even by people who have limited knowledge or access to technology.

I’ve been a big fan of seafood and so is my colleague and hence she and I checked for the best seafood restaurants which offer the best discount on the slot best suitable for us and we zeroed in on Fish Curry Rice in Baner!

Fish Curry Rice, ladies and gentlemen undoubtedly serves the best seafood in Pune! Yes, I do have the audacity to say the best because I’ve tried almost every sea food restaurant in Pune and none and I mean none comes close to the food served at Fish Curry Rice (FCR). Run by the joyous Sandesh Sudhir Bhat, a connoisseur of art, theater and food, FCR does sit on top 5 must visit seafood joints in Pune!

Here’s all that we ordered:

Pomfret fry
Prawns Koilwada
Malwani Chicken Curry & Rice
Solkadi

One of the easiest fried fish dish to make, the pomfret fry honestly isn’t that easy if one gets into the detailing. The pomfret fry served at FCR can either be tried as an appetizer or served as a main, either ways it’s delicious. So that was quite an amazing start to my kingly meal at FCR.

Ordered Prawns koliwada as my colleague is a big fan but to our disappointment, these didn’t turn out as expected. A dish made famous by the koli community of Bombay is really close to my heart due to its subtle and simple preparation, but it definitely needs alterations if they want their patrons to continue ordering it.

Next up was the Malwani Chicken Curry and steamed rice. A decent option for the ones who would want to try chicken in a seafood restaurant, Yes, that’s me! The quantity and the price were in sync and Malwani chicken curry is a good main on the menu of FCR.

All this and the two of us were full so what do we do? We ordered Solkadi. Know what that is? Well, let me help you with that.

Solkadi is a famous drink from Maharashtra’s konkan region, a drink made from kokum, aamsol and coconut milk. This homely drink actually helped cool down our digestive systems after having the spiced up malwani curry! It’s a natural digestive and was delicious indeed.
